PartyWise

Privacy Policy

Effective Date: August 25, 2026

1. Who We Are

PartyWise (the "App") is developed and operated by Stefano Anania, an individual sole proprietor ("we", "us", or "our"). You can reach us about anything in this policy at debts.hombre_7t@icloud.com.

This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information. It applies to the iPhone app, the Apple Watch app, and the App's widgets and Live Activities.

2. The Short Version

We do not have servers, accounts, or analytics. Nothing you enter into the App is sent to us, because there is nowhere for it to be sent. Your profile, your usage history, your notes, and your favourites exist only on your own device.

The App reaches the network in exactly two situations, both of which require you to act: when you tap an outbound link and confirm that you want to leave, and when you deliberately share a Trip Sitter Card. Everything else works offline. Sections 8 through 11 explain those two cases in detail.

3. No Data Collection

The App is fully functional without collecting any personally identifiable information. We do not require you to create an account, we do not ask for your name or email, we do not assign you an identifier, and we do not track your usage. We never see what substances you look up, what interactions you check, or what you log.

4. Local Data Storage

All data you enter into the App, including your optional user profile and usage history, is stored exclusively on your local device. This data is not transmitted to our servers or to any third-party service. It remains under your control at all times.

Please note: if you have enabled iCloud Backup on your device, Apple may include your local App data as part of your device backup. This is governed entirely by Apple's iCloud Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, over which we have no control.

5. Device Security

Your locally stored data is protected by your device's built-in security features, including iOS data protection, which encrypts data at rest using your device passcode. We strongly recommend enabling a device passcode and Face ID or Touch ID to protect access to your App data.

Because the App holds sensitive information, also consider who has physical access to your unlocked device, and review the notification settings described in Section 10.

6. Payment Processing

If you choose to support the App via In-App Purchases or Subscriptions, all payments are processed securely by Apple via StoreKit. Apple is the merchant of record. We do not collect, process, or have access to your credit card or billing information, and Apple does not tell us who you are — we receive only aggregate, anonymous sales reporting.

7. No Analytics or Tracking

The App does not include any analytics, advertising, attribution, or crash-reporting software. There is no third-party SDK collecting information about you. We do not monitor how you use the App, what substances you search for, or what interactions you check. Your activity within the App is completely private, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

8. No Network Communication

The core functionality of the App operates entirely offline. It does not make any network requests to external servers for its primary features, and all substance data and images are included within the App bundle. The App may contain user-initiated links to external websites — such as research citations and product links — which open in your browser only when you tap them and choose to continue. See "Affiliate & Outbound Links" below.

9. Affiliate & Outbound Links

The App contains links to products on Amazon and to external research sources. The product links are affiliate links: if you choose to open one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you, and the link carries an identifier used only to credit that commission. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Amazon does not share your identity with us — we receive only aggregate, anonymous sales reporting.

The App never opens these links automatically; it always asks you to confirm before leaving, and nothing about you is shared until you do. Product images shown in the App are stored within the App itself, so browsing this section involves no network activity and no contact with Amazon.

Once you continue to Amazon or any other external site, you are subject to that company's own terms and privacy practices, including any cookies, tracking, or personalization they apply.

10. Session Reminders

Session reminders — phase updates and hydration check-ins — are optional and turned off by default. When you enable them, they are scheduled entirely on your device using iOS local notifications. They are not push notifications: no server is involved, no device token is registered, and nothing about your sessions leaves your device.

By default these reminders do not name any substance; they refer only to "your session", so nothing sensitive appears on your lock screen where others might see it. You can choose to include substance names in Settings. Clearing your data also cancels any scheduled reminders.

11. Trip Sitter Card

The Trip Sitter Card lets you deliberately share a summary of your current session with someone you trust. This is the only feature that sends your information off your device, and it only ever happens when you choose to.

You decide exactly what the card contains — each section is off unless you turn it on — and the complete text is shown to you before you share it. The App never reads your device location; if you choose to include where you are, you type that yourself. Sharing uses the standard iOS share sheet, so you pick the recipient and can cancel at any point.

Once you send the card, the information is in the hands of whoever receives it and whichever app you sent it through. We cannot recall or delete it. Because the card discloses substance use, please consider carefully who you send it to.

12. Data Deletion

You have full control over your data. You can delete your entire usage history and profile from within the App's settings at any time. This action is irreversible and permanently removes the data from your device. Deleting the App itself also removes all of its local data.

13. Your Privacy Rights

Data-protection laws such as the EU and UK GDPR give you rights over personal data that a company holds about you — including rights of access, correction, erasure, portability, and objection.

Those rights are exercised against whoever holds your data. We hold none. Because the App stores everything locally and transmits nothing to us, we are not a controller or processor of your App data, and there is no copy of it for us to produce, correct, export, or delete. You exercise these rights directly and immediately yourself: your data is on your device, you can view it in the App, and you can erase all of it at any time using the deletion tools in Settings.

If you nonetheless believe we hold information about you, write to us at debts.hombre_7t@icloud.com and we will respond. If you are in the EU or UK you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection supervisory authority.

14. No Sale or Sharing of Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those terms are used under California law and comparable United States state privacy statutes. We have never done so, and because we collect no personal information in the first place, there is nothing that could be sold or shared. We also do not respond to Do Not Track signals, because we do not track you in any circumstance.

15. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18, and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect any information from children — indeed, we do not knowingly collect information from anyone. If you believe a minor is using the App, please discuss it with them; there is no account for us to close and no data for us to delete on our side.

16. International Users

The App is available in many countries. Because your data never leaves your device, there is no international transfer of your personal data to us and no cross-border processing to disclose. Any transfer that does occur — for example, when you tap through to Amazon or send a Trip Sitter Card — is one you initiate, and is governed by the privacy practices of the service you have chosen to use.

17. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the Effective Date above and post the updated policy within the App. Where a change is material, we will ask you to review and accept it before you continue using the App. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically.

18. Contact Us

If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, you can contact Stefano Anania at debts.hombre_7t@icloud.com.
